Camera Obscura´s Spanish tour [2002] |
After the excellent reaction of media and audience towards their first album "Biggest bluest hi-fi" -released in Spain by Elefant- Scottish six piece CAMERA OBSCURA will tour Spain in November. CAMERA OBSCURA got popular due to their single "Eighties fan", a delightful song that showed the band's most remarkable features: the beautiful voice of Tracyanne Campbell and a taste for the most acoustic, non-affected side of pop music, in a way not too far from their Glasgow fellowmates BELLE AND SEBASTIAN. In fact B&S frontman Stuart Murdoch has produced and arranged "Eighties fan", and has directed its videoclip as well. CAMERA OBSCURA's first live show in Spain took place in Primavera Sound Festival(Barcelona, May 2002). Now they will play in many Spanish towns, including Santander's Tanned Tin Festival de Santander. Here are the dates of a tour essential for any Uk-pop lover: Wednesday, November 6 Thursday, November 7 Friday, November 8 Saturday, November 9 Thursday, November 14 Friday, November 15 Saturday, November 16 |
