These youngsters, three boys and three girls, from Madrid are crazy for the synth-pop hysteria from the 80's, and mix it with an indie-rock philosophy to make three great songs of charming pop electronica.

One of this Spanish band's most renowned songs, thanks to its excellent melody and production. It appears in their album 'Aquí vivía yo', but there are three extra tracks in both formats of this record: 'Revelación', the incredibly beautiful 'La balada de la primavera' and 'Catástrofe nº 17'. The one with a big 'F' in its sleeve.

Of these six songs (plus a non-credited surprise track at the end of the record), only the title one ended up in their second album 'Pocket horror symphony'. It includes their minimalist techno version of SONIC YOUTH (!) Their collision of old electronics and whispering vocals can amaze you.

The Elefant farewell of this Spanish band. Here we find them suffering a transition from their early, PAVEMENT-ridden angst, to more poppier paths sung in Spanish. It's a very curious record as it features twelve songs compressed in a Mini-Cd. Like WEEN or GUIDED BY VOICES, they move away from prejudices and look for fun, not forgetting to write unforgettable songs.

This strange format CD (halfway across a single and a whole album, though it features eight songs) was released between their second and third album, but to many fans it’s one of their best records, much more than a simple appetizer! Soaked with their peculiar irony, they recall the ghosts of CAN, JOY DIVISION and SONIC YOUTH in a completely personal mixture, amazing for a Spanish band. They’re one of our most international bands, and to get to this point they only needed two ingredients: risk and imagination.

From Zaragoza, NOTHING keep on bewitching most melodic pop lovers with simply crafted pills. As the bands in Bus Stop label or VELVET CRUSH, they are always looking for the perfect pop song. This CD-single was another step towards that target, and served as an advance for their second album, produced by 18 WHEELER's Sean Jackson. Besides, they include a GUIDED BY VOICES cover version.

In this record the band from Linares (Jaén, Spain) moved away from their more obvious influences (SPACEMEN 3, THE JESUS & MARY CHAIN...) to enter a new ground exclusively of their own. The sound is much better than in previous releases, and they even dare to render homage to NEU! on their splendid instrumental “Sputnik Was Sent Into Space Over 30 Years Ago, In 1957”.
