to split up... then...
* Ángel records some own songs in Hellin (Albacete). * Carlos 77 keep on rehearsing with his another band, HIGINIO. * José Alberto and Rafa form a band, also with Pili, from THE YELLOW MELODIES. * Ruth and Rafa form also another band, and they keep going to festivals and venues as VACACIONES djs. |
| Mar-2006 | -On 24th March VACACIONES play their last gig at Stereo, in Cartagena (Murcia). |
| Jan-2006 | -A new release is out now! It is a compilation called "Lolitas, vol. 2", a CD with spanish girl bands, on the Bon Vivant label, that features 3 Vacaciones' demo songs: "En verano", "Se te ne vai" y "Short sighted". |

| Oct-2005 | 2 new compilations with VACACIONES'
songs are released:
-VVAA -"Candy box" CD (Rambling, 2005) --> includes "No me digas que me quieres". It is a compilation from an important japanese label; other Elefant bands featured here are: La Casa Azul, Camera Obscura, Niza, etc... VVAA - "Como un fan" CD (Revista 69, 2005) --> includes "Poppy girl". It is a compilation CD that comes with the '69' magazine from Peru. |

-A new release is out now! It is a compilation called "Megaton yeye", a double-CD with spanish bands, on the Bon Vivant label, that features 2 Vacaciones' demo songs: "Yendo a ninguna parte" y "Canción triste". |
| Jun-2005 | VACACIONES give a surprise in the Benicassim Festival Party held in Murcia (Super 8), and after the PROFESOR POPSNUGGLE show, they go on to the stage and play 3 songs: "Emmaboda", "Dis Berlin" and "Volverás" |
| Feb-2005 | The new cd-ep comes out in February
2005, it is an cd-ep called 'Suelta los problemas ¡ya!', featuring
4 new songs, and it is released in the new label from Barcelona, 'Discos
de Paseo' (www.discosdepaseo.com).
This ep announces the forthcoming new album that will be released before
the next summer.
The confirmed gigs are: -12th February --> Magic. Barcelona (Spain) + Fnac Diagonal Mar (Barcelona) -12th March --> Siroco. Madrid (Spain) |

| Dec- 2004 | Vacaciones take part with 2 rare tracks in the compilation called 'Entresemana' that comes with the new issue #4 of the magazine 'Freak Out!', from Peru. The featured tracks are: "Asesinato (guindilla mix)", this was an early version of this song, recorded in mono at the Sr Guindilla studio, in Murcia; the other track is "No lo quiero pensar", this was just the song that featured as an extra track in the LP vinyl format of their debut album 'Sonreír' (Elefant, 2002), now sold out and deleted. |
